Lisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree after studying psychology, photography, philosophy and Buddhism. She considers herself extremely privileged to have also spent a year studying photography at the Glasgow School of Art.
Lisa received her Master of Arts and Master of Education Degrees in Counseling Psychology from Teacher’s College, Columbia University with an emphasis on multiculturalism and client centered counseling. She is a Certified Cognitive Remediation Specialist, and a Certified Holistic Health Coach after training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where she gained extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. As a clinician Lisa constantly works to educate herself about new and effective ways to help clients achieve their goals.
Recently Lisa has continued to educate herself by studying about Mindfulness Based CBT modalities, Meditation, and the Mind-Body Connection.
